Despite Challenges, Port-au-Prince and Provincial Cities Celebrate the End of the Year

In Port-au-Prince, as well as in several provincial cities, posters adorn the streets for this year-end celebration. Music enthusiasts had a delightful time during the extended Christmas weekend and are gearing up for nightclub outings for the final weekend of 2023. The public can look forward to performances by established groups and DJs in Haiti, as well as some based in America who have taken the chance to return home and bring a touch of joy to the holiday season.

In Port-au-Prince, the musical group Kreyòl la kicked off the Nativity weekend by commemorating its anniversary at the Convention Center of the El Rancho hotel. T-Joe Zenny and his band performed in front of thousands of fans, joined by Tony Mix, Tafa, Medel Brun, and the two figures from "Apach World Music" (T-Joe's new label) – Pablo and Melo-idiz. Simultaneously, Boukman Eksperyans and the emerging group "Nanm" invited roots music lovers to Quartier Latin restaurant for an event called "Veye Makay
