European Union to Back UN-imposed Sanctions

In an interview with Le Nouvelliste, the EU Ambassador to Haiti, Stefano Gatto, addressed the issue of UN sanctions. The diplomat assured that the EU, which recently adopted a sanctions regime, intends to support those adopted by the United Nations. "Regarding sanctions, there are two elements to consider. We are part of the UN system, and all our countries are UN members.
