"Today, there are almost no more professors to deliver courses in Haitian universities.

"Today, there are almost no more professors to deliver courses in Haitian universities. Professors in higher education are already pariahs. They have been decapitalized due to political turmoil for the past five years. 80% of them have had to leave the country. Those who remain are merely playing the card of resistance," declared Jean Robert Charles, President of the Conference of Rectors, Presidents, and Leaders of Haitian Higher Education Institutions (Corpuha), addressing the situation of Haitian universities on Magik 9.
