Nicaragua: Attorney Frandley Denis Julien Calls for Serious Consideration of American Threats

Attorney Frandley Denis Julien commented on recent statements by Brian Nichols, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, threatening action against organizers of charter flights to Nicaragua. In an interview on Magik9 on Thursday, November 9, 2023, Julien explained the various mechanisms the U.S. administration has to sanction the organizers of these flights.

"The legal provision that allows action against these individuals is Title 8 United States Code 1324," stated Attorney Frandley Denis Julien, specifying that in the United States, a distinction is made between human trafficking and smuggling.
