Haiti Dominates Against Saint Kitts (11-0) and Takes Group Leadership

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the SKNFA Technical Centre in Basseterre, the Haitian women's football team dismantled the defense of the national team of Saint Kitts and Nevis (11-0), leading 8-0 at halftime, to take the lead in Group B ahead of the Costa Rican team (2nd). They will face Costa Rica on November 30th for the top spot, which guarantees qualification for the 2024 Gold Cup.

For this crucial match, national coach Frédéric Gonçalves fielded a lineup consisting of Kerly Théus (GK), who reclaimed her position in goal after being on the bench against Costa Rica. The defensive line-up included Amandine Pierre-Louis, Maudeline Moryl, Déborah Bien-Aimé, and Chelsea Surpris. In midfield were Melchie Dumornay, Roselord Borgella, and Sherly Jeudy, with the attacking trio of Kethna Louis, Batcheba Louis, and Nérilia Mondésir.
