Regular activities have been suspended at the University Hospital of Mirebalais (UHM) following the attack it suffered during the night of September 26, 2023, when heavily armed bandits riddled the institution's premises with bullets. "There are no activities at the hospital now. We are at a standstill," revealed Dr. Pierre Marie Cherenfant, Executive Director of UHM, on Magik 9, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
"Officially, we are no longer admitting new patients. We are trying to evacuate existing patients to
