Heavily armed men attacked the University Hospital of Mirebalais (HUM) during the night of Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., the assailants breached the hospital's premises and instilled fear within. The sound of automatic gunfire echoed throughout the city.
