The Haitian National Police (PNH) continues its operations to regain control of Carrefour-Feuilles. This was affirmed by the Director General of the PNH, Frantz Elbé, during an interview with Le Nouvelliste.
"We have made progress. We are reclaiming spaces that were occupied by criminals. We are moving forward gradually. There is a reasonable presence on site 24/7. There is also a partnership between the police and community members," stated the police chief.
