Equipped Properly, PNH and FAD’H Can Confront Bandits, Affirms FAD'H Commander-in-Chief

With a force of 1,500 men and women in troops available, the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAD’H) do exist, but they lack true operational capability. General Jodel Lessage, the Chief Commander of the FAD’H, believes that with the necessary resources, both the army and the national police can counter the armed gangs.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces has observed that certain international actors are hesitant to engage in the battle against the gangs that are wreaking havoc in the country, in order to avoid becoming ensnared in Haiti's complex situation.
