Delimart Returns to Delmas

The Delimart supermarket in Delmas 32 reopened its doors on June 30, 2023, five years after being looted and set on fire during the events of July 6 and 7, 2018. The reconstruction of the new facilities cost several million dollars. The Delimart in Delmas 32, the largest branch of the group, creates 150 direct jobs, thousands of indirect jobs, and remains committed to its philosophy of providing a sales platform for local producers. Sebastien Boulos, the group's manager, discussed the shareholders' sense of commitment, the difficulties faced, and the necessity of restoring a threshold of security to allow the economy to function normally in an interview with Le Nouvelliste.
