At the fourth plenary session on June 23, the General Assembly of the OAS adopted a resolution on Haiti entitled "Towards the immediate restoration of security, strengthening of humanitarian aid, and support for the protection of human rights and democracy in Haiti." The said resolution was adopted by consensus.
