Prime Minister Ariel Henry stated during the second day of the forum organized by the High Council of Transition, held at the Karibe Convention Center on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, that he had never requested a military intervention in Haiti.
"I am on the same page as you when you say that we do not need our foreign friends to come and do the work for us. The government has never requested a military intervention. We have only asked for robust support for our law enforcement forces, who are ready to fully play their role,"
