Since Monday, May 8th, 2023, subcontracting workers have launched a new series of protests in the streets of Port-au-Prince to demand an adjustment of the minimum wage to 2,500 Gourdes.

As of Wednesday, May 10th, 2023, subcontracting workers were on their third day of protest in the streets of Port-au-Prince to demand a substantial adjustment to the minimum wage.
