Edwine Tonton, the Director of the Social Assistance Fund, was arrested and detained for corruption on the order of Judge Jean Wilner Morin. Judge Morin also issued travel bans against other high-ranking government officials. Since then, Judge Morin has become a favorite of internet users for his bravery. The public hopes that other delicate cases involving politically and economically powerful men will be entrusted to him.
