Episcopal Church of Haiti Implicated in Illicit Arms Trade: Key Figures and Connections Revealed

The investigation of the Financial and Economic Affairs Bureau (BAFE) of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) into the illegal importation of weapons and ammunition by the Episcopal Church of Haiti has shed light on the brains behind this lucrative trafficking, entry ports, and contacts with gangs, including that of Village-de-Dieu and "Kraze Baryè" of Vitelhomme Innocent, learned Le Nouvelliste from sources close to the investigation on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

The arrest of Gina Jean Louis Rolls, the "broker" who was supposed to receive the containers, on July 15, 2022, revealed that she had been working for the Episcopal Church of Haiti for several years and that Father Frantz Cole, diocesan executive secretary of the EEH, had contacted her.
