President Danilo Medina visits Haiti

The president of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, conducted on Sunday, October 9th, a short visit to Haiti in solidarity with the Haitian people. President Medina, accompanied by several members of the Dominican government, spent less than two hours in Haiti, without leaving the airport.

President Danilo Medina is the first president in the region to visit Haiti after Hurricane Matthew, which devastated several of the country’s departments.
