The idea of a festival "Goût et Saveurs Lakay" was initiated in 2011. It originated from a dynamic team of people who understand that Haitian gastronomy could be part of the country’s tourism promotion elements.
"Making of Haiti a culinary destination" is the theme around which Goût et Saveurs Lakay 2016 will be held. In the opinion of the festival organizers, Haiti’s culinary offerings drawn from its history with its influences from many other cultures is what makes the food and flavors of the country so unique.
Three special events should
