Zephyr has, throughout his life, contributed to the progress of tourism in Haiti and especially in the North. He represented for the people who knew him a model tourism entrepreneur. Furthermore, he held important positions during his life, including the post of President of the Organization of Destination Management (OGD in French) in the North.
