Selebrasyon! is a bi-annual Haitian art and culture festival established by Haiti Cultural Exchange to showcase the diversity of talent that exists both locally and internationally. During the Festival which takes place from May 1st to June 30th. Lakou Mizik a local racine band performed on May 6th and had a very big turnout.
In addition to Nathalie, other locals to be showcased include the well-known and highly decorated writer, Yanick Lahens who will be participating in Salon d’Haiti to be held on June 19th at the Queens Museum. Gessica
Art show featuring Nathalie Jolivert and Mahalia Stines in New Yok
The Haiti Cultural Exchange as part of its Selebrasyon! Festivities is organizing an art exhibition featuring local artist Nathalie Jolivert and Haitian American artist Mahalia Stines at FiveMyles Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. The opening reception for the exhibition is scheduled to place on May 12th and their pieces will continue to be exposed until June 4th.
