With over 1,050 guest authors, more than 94,000 visitors and more came from all over Europe to hear their favorite authors, discover new works and broaden their horizons. The event took place on various stages including Place Suisse, la place du Moi, L’Apostrophe, la Place du Voyage, le pavillon des Cultures Arabes, Le Salon Africain.
Haitian authors including Dany Laferrière, Kettly Mars, James Noël, Evains Wêche, and photographer Casimir Veillard came to represent their nation at this event.

Haiti at the Geneva Book and Press Fair
From April 27th to May 1st, the thirtieth edition of the Geneva the Book and Press Fairwas held at the Palais des Expositions (Palexpo), in the town of Grand-Saconnex (Switzerland). This year, to mark the 170th anniversary of the abolition of slavery and in memory of Tahar Haddad, the early twentieth century thinker, Tunisia was honored.
