Marie Carmel Lafontant : "My dream has always been to educate women”

Most of those who know her are unanimous in believing that Mary Carmel Lafontant is a living heritage. Involved very early in the feminist movement, she had the chance to collaborate and follow closely illustrious Haitian women who campaigned for the respect of women's rights and empowerment in Haiti. This career educator has journeyed around the country to assist women in several areas. Leaving the bread of instruction to all the women she could meet in life has always been his motto.
