On November 16th, the Caribbean Development Bank announced tjat Dr. William Warren Smith was re-elected as president of the multilateral and regional institutions which Haiti is a member since January 2007. He became the fifth President of the CBD, in October 2010, at the operational level, some aspects of the model of the Bank's business requires adjustments that would increase the efficiency and responsiveness of the CBD vis-à-vis the changing needs of its members.
