“Made in Haiti” bus: Two years on the road to Port-de-Paix

Traveling on the Port-de-Paix / Port-au-Prince road since August 2013, the bus built by Jean-Paul Coutard is performing well on the rocky road to Port-de-Paix. "Our evaluation after two years and two months on the road, confirm the robustness of our work," said the head of Coutard Motors, expressing his great satisfaction its first construction. Coutard said that traditional buses which operate this route cannot resist on this road for over a year and a half without knowing major problems. "Our product was built for the road," recalled the native of St. Louis du Nord, indicating that the bus made the trip almost every day, leaving Port-au-Prince for St. Louis du Nord through Port -of-Paix, and the next vice versa.
