The new ambassador of the United States in Haiti, Peter Mulrean, presented his credentials to the President of Haiti, Michel Joseph Martelly, on the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Mulrean takes over from Ambassador Pamela A. White. Mulrean, a career member of the Foreign Service, was deputy chief at the US Mission to the UN in Geneva, Switzerland, a position he has held since 2012.
