Tuberculosis, free medical care to save lives

A total of 15,963 cases of tuberculosis of all forms were screened and placed under treatment in 2014 by the National Program to fight against Tuberculosis (PNLT) of the Ministry of Public Health.

A total of 15,963 cases of tuberculosis of all forms were screened and placed under treatment in 2014 by the National Program to fight against Tuberculosis (PNLT) of the Ministry of Public Health. This infectious disease, which usually affects the lungs, can be treated for free and monitored for a short duration of six-month nationwide as recommended by the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP in French).
