Klere Ayiti: Towards clean energy in Haiti

According to Dominique Policard, Commercial Executive Director at SogeXpress, the prurpose of this initiative is to direct the Haitian Diaspora's remittances to finance clean energy products for relatives in Haiti. In other words, this partnership will combine the diaspora's commitment to his family in the country and technical innovation to solve the electricity problem in Haiti.

According to Nicola Armacost, Executive Director of Arc Finance, one of the partners Klere Ayiti, quoting a recent study on the subject research, a quarter of the remittances are used to pay energy in one form or other.
