12 new Dignité school buses for the far north

On May 8th, officials from the Dignité school transportation company presented 12 new buses to serve the northern department. The presentation was held in the presence of several local authorities and government from the concerned departments.

llSeven of these buses will provide transportation for northern schoolchildren, three will provide transportation to the Northeast and two will transport schoolchildren in the towns of Cap-Haitien, Dondon, Borgne, Limbe, Plaisance, Milot, Grande Rivière du Nord, Port-de-Paix, St. Louis du Nord, Derac, Ferrier and Ouanaminthe. This awarding follows a donation of 50 new buses from South Korea to Haiti following an agreement signed in May 2013 between the Haitian and Korean governments in support of free and compulsory universal education program
