The GHESKIO Centres inaugurate their TB treatment hospital

The GHESKIO Centres, directed by Dr. William Pape, inaugurated on Monday, March 23rd, in Tabarre, the "Ludwig Pavilion", a hospital for the treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDRTB). Foreign experts in tuberculosis and infectious diseases, from prestigious medical schools and research centers, attended the inaugural ceremony, five years after the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010 destroyed the main hospital for tuberculosis Port-au-Prince as well as the general health infrastructure.
