According to Prime Minister Paul, the festival is an ideal opportunity for Haiti to demonstrate its ability to organize large cultural festivals and receive tourists. “Haiti will take the opportunity to promote its artistic works and honor its gastronomy,” said Prime Minister Paul.

Haiti prepares to host Carifesta
On March 18th, Evans Paul, Haitian Prime Minister, accompanied by Rothchild Francois Jr, Minister of Communication and Government Spokesman, Joan Dithny Raton, Minister of Culture, and Stephanie Balmir Villedrouin, Minister of Tourism, officially launched a website dedicated to Carifesta, the Caribbean Festival of Arts. The festival will be held under the theme "Our roots, our culture, our common future."
