The average salary for a worker in the sector is around two thousand dollars per year," said Yves Savain, Executive Director of the Tripartite Commission implementing the Hope Act, speaking last week at the second edition of Human Resources Weeks at the Hotel Montana. “Currently, the textile sector has about 35,000 workers, of which 80% are women," he added.
