Often children without parental care are placed in orphanages. Given the ineffectiveness of these institutions, IBESR decided to place these children in foster families. The objective of this new project is to build a richer system for the most vulnerable children.

IBESR launches family home for underprivileged children
On November 14th, in partnership with Terre des Hommes, a children’s aid organization , the Institute of Welfare and Research (IBESR in French) launched a device for foster care placement at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST in French). This project should help reduce the number of street children and give them the opportunity to grow up in a family.
