So… Natural Hair?

As women, one of the first things others notice about us is our hair. It speaks to our identity, one of the immediate ways we declare who ourselves to others. And while within our community natural hair has been put under question for quite some time, a revolution is under go. The natural hair movement is taking the town by storm and it’s not leaving anyone behind. And yes, guilty as charged, a naturalista has got the mic. While my natural hair journey has been marked by rediscovery, self-love and renewed joy it has not been easy. Learning to love my chemically unprocessed tresses did not happen overnight. It was and still is a journey.
