Edouard Duval-Carrié, painter and sculptor, distinguishes himself

The painter and sculptor Edouard Duval-Carrie is one of 34 artists nominated for the 2014 USA Artists Scholarship. Born in Haiti and living in Miami, he was appointed along with 116 nominees living in the United States and Puerto Rico. A 50,000 USD scholarship will be awarded to the winner. The 34 winners this year, including 16 women and 18 men, were selected by a committee of peers, recognized experts in each artistic discipline.
