llAmong the 1982 level-4 agents within the Hatian National Police, 406 are eligible to become inspectors without the usual competition. The police officers in all the departments, even those in the remotest areas, will benefit from this decision, according to Orélus during an exclusive interview on Wednesday October 22nd at Le Nouvelliste. He stressed that to be elligible, the police officer must have eight years of experience at level-4.

In terms of career officers developed under Godson Orélus’s administration, and adopted last year by the CSPN, a special provision was made to facilitate level-4 agents with at least eight years in this ranking to become inspectors. Orélus made the announcement on Saturday, October 18th.
