Education: Establishing a stronger partnership between Haiti and Finland

On September 10th, Nesmy Manigat, Minister of Education, and Krista Kiuru, Finnish Minister of Education, signed a cooperation agreement to address issues related to the quality of Haiti’s education. Haitian and Finnish experts, with the support of technical and financial partners, took part in this activity.

Ministers Manigat and Kiuru, along with Finnish education experts, Ecclésiaste Télémaque, General Director of the Ministry of Education and Jacky Lumarque, Rector of the Université Quisqueya, among others met to reflect on the best strategy for cooperation to improve the Haitian educational system. With the objective to launch a new partnership for quality Haitian education, the two ministers signed a cooperation agreement at the Ritz Kinam.
