La Gonâve vibes to the rhythms of the Lamothe government

Prior to the 10th edition of “Gouvènman an Lakay ou” that was held on Saturday, September 13th at La Gonâve, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe visited the work sites to inquire about the progress of various projects included in the development plan of the island of La Gonâve.

Located 12 minutes flying time and 2 hours by sea from Port-au-Prince, the island of La Gonâve has a surface area of 689.62 square kilometers, and it is 60 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide. The island is divided between the town of Anse-à-Galets and the Points-a-Racquettes with a population of over 80,000 inhabitants. It has some important tourist attractions.
