President Michel Martelly marks the departure of the Apostolic Nuncio

On Monday August 24th, President Michel Martelly decorated Archbishop Auza Bernadito, the Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti, marking his sixth year in office in Haiti. "A profound gesture of friendship" to the nuncio who remains committed to the country.

Launched in 2008, the Apostolic Nuncio’s mission in Haiti is nearing completion. Before leaving the country, a special ceremony was held in his honor at the National Palace.
