Launch of the campaign on sensible use of medicine

On August 25th, the Ministry of Public Health and Population launched a campaign on the senisible use of medicines. The campaign aims to allow Haitians to understand the potential consequences of using and purchasing these products from unqualified and unauthorized sellers.

Working closely with other state institutions, the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AMCHAM), with funding from the Department of State, this three-month campaign is centered on the theme: "Sante m se pi gwo byen m’, m’ap toujou achte medikaman m’ nan famasi ministè sante piblik otorize", (My health is my biggest asset. I will always buy my medication from authorized pharmacies.) This awareness campaign, which will last from August to October, aims to inform the public about the risks and dangers associated with counterfeit pharmaceutical
