An Inter-Ministerial Committee toreflect on the problem of individuals with disability

On August 19th, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe chaired the first Inter-Ministerial Monitoring Committee on Disability (CISH in French) meeting. It was an opportunity for Gerald Oriol, Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, and various ministers to discuss law relating to the integration of people with disabilities.

For thirty minutes, Prime Minister Lamothe, also CISH President, met with various ministers and secretaries of state at the meeting to discuss the issue of people with disabilities. The meeting provided the Prime Minister with the opportunity to stress the importance the government places on people with special needs.
