A new police commissioner in Cap-Haitien

A member of the second promotion of the Haitan National Police’s class(PNH) Divisionary Commissioner Hugues Gabriel has taken the reins of the police in Cap-Haitien and promises to transform the police force into leaders against crime and juvenile delinquency.

Speaking on Wednesday August 13th to Le Nouvelliste, Gabriel said he is committed to maintaining order, peace, security, and tranquility in his native city. This is a challenge for the 43 year old policeman who has worked and remobilized the police force in the country's second city, after the events of February 2004.
