Nguyen Dang Trien, Natcom CEO informed the audience of the company’s latest advancements. “95% of the population has access to Natcom, 70% to the 3G network,” he said, emphasizing Natcom’s coverage in Haiti’s remote regions. He went on to share that Natcom will begin testing their 4G network before the end of 2014.
Trien noted that the company has laid 6,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable countrywide since its inception in 2010. “In March of this year, we began offering the fiber optic connection to households.”
