The Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Rural Development (MARNDR in French), through the National Institute of Haitian Coffee (INCAH in French) organized, a workshop on Haitian coffee on April 10- 11, 2014 at Karibe Hotel with the participation from the Multilateral Investment Fund (FOMIN in French), the Inter-American Development Bank, the French Development Agency, Agronomists, and Veterinarians Without Borders.

Haitian coffee has lost ground internationally. The National Institute of Haitian Coffee wants to work to restore the product to its place. Discussions are scheduled to define strategies to boost this sector.
