Hilton Worldwide announces a new hotel in Haiti

Once again we it is evident that Haiti is in fact open for business. On April 10, 2014, Ted Middleton, Vice President of Development for Hilton Worldwide, Dominque Carvonis, President of CAB, S.A, and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe all gathered at Visa Lodge to sign a memorandum of understanding on the construction of a Hilton Garden Inn approximately less than a mile from the Toussaint Louverture International Airport.

lHilton Garden Inn had its eyes set on Haiti, mirroring a other internationally renowned hotels who also have found homes on the island. Scheduled to open in 2016, the 26 million dollar complex will be equipped with 152 rooms including eight suites, modern amenities, a business center, restaurant, café-bar, conference room, and more. “It is with great pride that we stand here, happy that the partnership between CAB. S.A. and Hilton Worldwide has come to fruition,” Carvonis announced. "We are excited the Hilton Garden Inn brand continues to grow
