The State University of Haiti (UEH) will soon have a university campus in the southern region. This project, launched by the UEH Rectorate, is part of an effort to decentralize the country’s largest university, whose faculties are currently concentrated mainly in the capital. A UEH delegation carried out an exploratory mission in the Grand Sud from Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 8, 2025, to identify a suitable site to make this project a reality.
