From 2015 to 2025, National Budget Rose from 123 to 323 Billion Gourdes, Says Jean Michel Silin
Created on May 8, 1962, the General Directorate of the Budget (DGB) quietly marked its 63rd anniversary last month. Taking this opportunity, Le Nouvelliste chose to spotlight this entity attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), by inviting the DGB's Director General, Jean-Michel Silin, to shed light on its mission, achievements, and the challenges encountered throughout its history—particularly with regard to one of its main concerns: the preparation of the national budget.
