Shares of SpaceX and Tesla, two companies led by American billionaire Elon Musk, were falling Wednesday at the opening of Wall Street, as the Democrats' victory the day before raised concerns among the markets about a legislative clampdown on the development of data centers for AI.
At 14:50 GMT, Tesla was down 3.82%, at $383.31, while SpaceX was down 2.65% at $137.47. Elon Musk has spent fortunes supporting Republicans in this election, without success, and is even witnessing Texas, where he relocated all his companies' headquarters, swing into the Democrats' fold following Tuesday's midterm elections.
