Security: The PNH Launches a Large-Scale Operation in the Cul-de-Sac Plain

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) reports that it launched a large-scale operation on Monday, November 2, 2026, in several areas of the Cul-de-Sac plain. Organized with the support of the Gang Suppression Force (GSF), this intervention aims primarily to dismantle illegal toll booths, prevent kidnappings, and put an end to the abuses by armed groups, PNH stated. The operation is taking place particularly in Carrefour Chada, Pont Quatre Missions, and Santo 17, with the deployment of several armored vehicles supporting the units engaged on the ground.
