Vijonet Déméro participates in the 12th Inter-American Meeting of Ministers of Education in Quito

The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Vijonet Déméro, chaired, on Thursday, October 29, 2026, the second and final day of the 12th Inter-American Meeting of Ministers of Education, organized in Quito, Ecuador, at the initiative of the Organization of American States (OAS). The discussions focused notably on the resilience of educational systems, the integration of digital technologies, democratic participation, and lifelong learning. This meeting aimed to define regional priorities, share best practices, and identify avenues for cooperation in the education sector, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education.
