FASCH mourns the passing of Professor Yves Barthélemy

The Faculty of Human Sciences of the State University of Haiti (FASCH/UEH) announces, in a statement, the passing of Professor Yves Barthélemy, which occurred on October 24, 2026. Secretary general for nearly twenty years and professor of the introductory economics course at said faculty, he distinguished himself "by his seriousness, his sense of responsibility, and his strong involvement in the institution's evolution." A day of mourning will be observed on October 28 at FASCH. The details of the funeral will be communicated later.
