Taxation: up to 3,076 gourdes more per month for certain public agents

The new tax measures could improve the disposable income of certain agents of the Haitian public service, without changing their gross salary. Simulations based on four profiles of police officers assigned to specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH) indicate a monthly net gain ranging from 2,168 to 3,076 gourdes. These estimates, presented in a note focused on the effects of the reform of personal income tax, are based on comparing tax deductions before and after the implementation of the new provisions.
